Dear Tom,
Thank you for taking the time to fill out our form. Please feel free to contact me personally: {deleted} (Mobile/cell)
Below are the photos from Bob Koskey's installation.
There are also photos of other types of heavy-duty traffic (including Public Roadways).
I sent a graphic email to a civil engineer/architect in Boston. His email account did not allow him to view the pictures inside emails, needed to see how they worked etc. You may wish to view the "web page" I had made for Val in Groton, Mass. >> www.ecoterr.com/val_groton_mass
Or to forward this email to your local administrative authorities, perhaps pointing out the ~ Environmental ~ section at the bottom of this email.
It addresses some of the FEDERAL standards to which local municipal officials SHOULD BE adhering, according to NEMO, EPA, NRCS, etc.
(Sometimes it takes some local communities a few years - or decades - to catch up with the rest of the nation.)
With kind regards,
Mark Rector

If you require specific suggestions concerning your installation, please reply with the geo-techs from your site.
If you wish to obtain samples, instructions, pricing or printed brochures, please reply with a few details describing your project (so that we may supply the correct product and information).
EXAMPLES: (if any are applicable)
1 - What do you intend to make using StabiliGrid, HomeGrid or HoofGrid?
Grass or crushed stone surfaces, or other?
Coverage area, in dimensions or square feet?
2 - Current ground conditions, and native soil type?
Has a local municipality or county required you to create a pervious, or water-permeable road surface?
If available, please include the soil's drainage quality and/or infiltration rate - your local USDA/NRCS county extension office can look it up for you, over the telephone, using the US Geological Survey WEB-Survey map.
3 - Have any other types of products been installed on this ground previously?
(e.g. any slowly-decaying bio-products such as 'hogfuel' or wood chips, any bio-toxic materials such as concrete or asphalt, or any other impervious materials such as stone dust, "dirty gravel" or decomposed granite, lime chips or "field lime," "binder" etc.)
4 - If this is to correct some existing ground, soil or water problem, please describe any issues that need solved, and what do you hope to achieve with StabiliGrid or HomeGrid.
ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS ::
Thank you for your interest in THE ORIGINAL pervious paving alternative - German engineered and manufactured for decades. Laboratory tested and field tested, TUV/LGA certified, ISO 9001 compliant, and approved by the German EPA/EPO for environmental amelioration (due to its pervious construction, eliminating incremental Stormwater Runoff).
COMPARISON SAMPLING ::
Please obtain competitive samples, before selecting a product. The superiority of our original grid system will become obvious.
Our system has been used in residential applications for years, as well as civil/governmental highways and parking, corporate, commercial and developmental low-impact road surface constructions.
StabiliGrid is also approved - and used - by NATO in for uses ranging from Arctic to desert conditions (i.e. Iraq, Dubai, UAE, Afghanistan, etc.).
May we ask, what would you like us to do? The form you completed online may be used for any type of request, but is usually used by consumers seeking information about:
(1) roadway, driveway, footpath/sidewalk or parking construction, erosion control, eco-friendly alternatives etc. using HomeGrid or StabiliGrid,
(2) HoofGrid for agricultural/equine applications, or
(3) Perfect Footing Olympic-Quality Riding Venue/Arena Surfaces.
MORE INFO :: I have provided a laundry list of links to information about our products and services, immediately below.
Section 1 - Country Clubs in England and Germany:
Yes, you can do that using StabiliGrid or Versi-Grid. Golfcart paths are a common installation of our system in Europe.
PLEASE NOTE:
the project pictured below is for an RV accessway to a parking area at the back of this house.
> Pathway pictured below serves double-duty as both a footpath, and as a driveway for the RV.
> The client decided to install the concrete paving stones pictured below for one of the truck tracks, our HomeGrid for the second track.
(StabiliGrid has a sufficient loadbearing capacity for the RV (or for any vehicle allowed on any public roadway in the USA, when appropriate ESAL values are applied instead of obsolete/off-topic AASHTO standards || download Product Specifications >> www.ecoterr.com/product-comparison.pdf)
> German-certified "Resistance to pressure at the surface" = 250 to 350 metric tonnes / square meter (app. 25-35 US tons / sq ft)
> German-certified "Vehicular LOAD" = 20 metric tonnes / axle (app. 22.5 US tons / axle)
> German-certified "Roadway Lifespan" = indefinite
(not expected to decay or decompose, more durable and longlifed than conventional paving, due to insusceptibility to winter ground upheavals resulting form the ground's freeze/thaw cycles)
> German-certified Environmental Compliance: TUV/Nord and LGA in Germany, Multiple DINS-compliance certifications with DE/EPO/EPA-compliance as well.
(you may find the environmental compatibility ordinances are much more severe and strictly inforced than anywhere in the USA)
Therefore, it is well be able to support common residential or public roadway traffic.

PERFECT FOOTING™:
Perfect Footing™ - Surface treatment for Classical Equitation, Dressage, Hunting/Jumping or 3-day Eventing Arenas
~ Other European References ~
ABOUT PERFECT FOOTING AND HOOFGRID: You may have seen HoofGrid and Perfect Footing at the Americana Reidsport in Augzburg, Germany. The previous year (2005), both were also used exclusively at the Annual Fest der Pferde, held in Vienna to commemorate the centennial of Mozart's passing (a "hometown boy," his concertos are favorite music for competitions and shows worldwide). This spring at the Equitana, . . . and just last week in Austria at the FEI-sponsored competition: they had 72 hours of torrential rainfall, right up to the morning of the first day. The outdoor arena as "perfect" within an hour of the torrent stopping.
The FEI officials were "shocked and dumbfounded," expecting to cancel the opening day events or postpone for 24 hours. Instead, they used the best riding surface available in the world. Letters, articles & TV News videos to follow . . .
When I asked Joachim Laengle, the owner of Pro-Equus in Austria, "Joe, do you have anyone in Europe that would give us a letter-of-recommendation for the grids, as well as for the Perfect Footing? You know, somebody that Americans might have heard of, or read about?"
Joe started rattling off "a few respected horsemen in Europe," that he assured us would give a product recommendation to any American who telephoned them. Here are the ones I could scribble down, do you recognize any of them?
Joe suggested, "Call any of the following, and ask any of them about Pro-Equus, Ecoraster, or Pro-Flex, etc. They will provide a recommendation over the telephone. Call Christine or George Wahl, or Vanja Babic, Tina, or call Kronsteiner if you can find him at home." (Rudi happens to be the 2005 International Champion of the NRHA - rodeo's "National Reining Horse Association"), and so on . . .
George Wahl: Joe's neighbor in Austria (now in his 80's, he also is the Former Director of the most-prestigious Spanish Riding School, Retired)
About George: "George Wahl should be blessed for life. If his knowledge disappears, the equestrian world and Belgium will suffer a great loss."
Christine Stückelberger: a regular visitor at George's place down the road (George Wahl is Christine's mentor).
Christine is also, a 5-time Olympic medalist in Equestrian Events, and 4-time world championship medalist.

Born: 1947-05-22, Switzerland
Olympic Equestrianism - Dressage (1 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze)
Individual Olympics Medals:
Gold in 1976
Bronze in 1988
Vanja Babic: a friend of Joachim Längle (she is also, the supervisor/trainer at a Lipizzan breeding and training center, "about 300 head of Lips" Joe said).

Rudi Kronsteiner: Owner of RK Stables in Europe (also, the 2005 International Reining Horse Champion)
2006 European Championships: Rudi is doing well so far this year, but Tina's Quarterhorses are dominating the European Reining Horse standings

NEMO = Nonpoint Education for Municipal Officials
Please feel free to refer to the following URL, which has abundant information about the NEMO project and its application.
Nonpoint Source Pollution Education for Municipal Officials Through various projects and funding sources, BRPC is providing education to municipal officials regarding polluted runoff or "nonpoint" source pollution. The program identifies the different types of pollutants associated with different land uses. The goal of the education program is to help municipal officials recognize the environmental impacts of land use planning decisions. NEMO presentations are available to all communities upon request.
MASS / GOV also has plenty of information about NEMO, and the necessity that Municipal Employees discontinue specifying construction standards or materials which create NONPOINT water pollution. (SOURCE = http://www.mass.gov/dep/service/others02.htm)

GRID - Shipping and volume price breaks: We cannot provide shipping costs without a quantity and shipping address (we cannot ship to "Box 235"). Unfortunately, these are not flat-rate items such as postal letters. They are bulk commodity materials that are shipped via commercial truckers or railways, on shrink-wrapped pallets requiring a forklift or similar off-loading equipment/facility at the shipping destination. Each order quantity and destination requires the generation of a custom shipping quote.
